Inmates mistakenly released from the Boyd County jail

Another inmate was released by mistake from the Boyd County Jail. It happened yesterday, just hours after a hearing about another accidental release less than two weeks ago. The jail blames a clerical error for the release of James Muth eleven days ago. Richard Layne was set free yesterday after a miscalculation when adding up time for good behavior. Layne returned to jail on his own Friday evening. Muth is still not in custody.
