IRS Tax Break

The IRS will be offering a tax break to those who were flooded out in late July. The federal disaster declaration following the July 28th flooding of homes and businesses in Harrison, Marion, Marshall and Wetzel counties will mean the IRS will automatically apply the credit for those areas. Those who were flooded out, but not in the area of the automatic credit, will need to contact the IRS to verify they are eligible for the tax break.
