Johnson & Johnson Settlement

A settlement is in place between West Virginia and a Johnson and Johnson company regarding over the counter drugs. A 33-million-dollar settlement was reached with more than 40 states over accusations the company unlawfully promoted its over-the-counter drugs as meeting federal standards for manufacturing. Ohio and Kentucky are also part of the settlement and West Virginia’s share of the deal will reach close to half-a-million-dollars.
