Justice Davis retiring from state Supreme Court

State Supreme Court Justice Robin Davis announced she will retire immediately amid impeachment proceedings. Davis blasted the impeachment process and said her retirement is the only way voters could have a say in who fill her seat. Today is the deadline for an open spot on the Supreme Court to appear on the ballot in November. The filing period for Davis’ seat will open today and run through August 21st.
