Kanawha County Wants Flood Damage Reported

If you’re recovering from flood damage after the Christmas Day storms, Kanawha County Emergency Management urges you to report it as they assess damage. Dispatchers in Kanawha County were busy….During a 4.5 hour period, WCHS TV reports Metro 911 answered more than 650 calls, including water rescues and reports of high water. If you had flooding, you’re urged to call the Kanawha County Planning Department at 304-357-0570 to report it. The county works with the state to determine in the amount of damage meets the threshold for a declaration from FEMA.
