Kentucky mayor accused in hit-and-run

The mayor of Somerset, Kentucky is accused of hit-and-run. Kentucky State Police say the accident happened Sunday evening on South Maple Street. Mayor Edward Girdler hit a child on a bicycle and left the scene. The child was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in unknown condition. The crash is under investigation.
