Kroger Offers Life-Saving Drug Without a Prescription
Kroger Pharmacies will start offering Naloxone with a prescription. Kroger said in a news release Monday that its 34 pharmacies in West Virginia are making the opioid reversal medicine available to help combat the drug overdose epidemic. West Virginia had the highest rate of death due to drug overdose in the United States, and getting Naloxone into the hands of family members, friends and caregivers can be a life-saving tool.
