Late Bob Denver

Gilligan will be getting a weekend’s worth of attention on the baseball field in southern West Virginia. The late Bob Denver, who starred in the 1960s TV comedy “Gilligan’s Island,” will be honored in late July with a series of promotions by the Toronto Blue Jays’ Class A affiliate in Bluefield. Denver died in 2005 and was a Princeton resident. His wife, Dreama, still lives in the area.
