Lawmakers preparing for impeachment hearings

West Virginia legislative leaders sent out a letter advising lawmakers to prepare to take steps that could lead to impeachment hearings for one or more members on the state Supreme Court. Justice Allen Loughry was arrested last week on a 22-count federal indictment. He also faces over thirty separate charges filed by the West Virginia Judicial Investigation committee. Loughry has given no indication that he intends to step down.
