Lawmakers will likely consider Loughry impeachment

While convicted state Supreme Court Justice Allen Loughry is seeking a retrial, lawmakers say it’s likely they will consider a new impeachment article. Interim meetings are scheduled for next week and House Speaker Roger Hanshaw says he anticipates being called into special session to take up the matter. Loughry was convicted on eleven federal counts last month.
