Legislature reviews audit reports

West Virginia lawmakers wrapped up their special session yesterday; before they adjourned they reviewed two new audit reports. An audit of state purchasing cards found that seventeen-percent of transactions didn’t have sufficient supporting documentation. And a separate audit found that the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency management failed to maintain an accurate inventory. The division says it can’t locate nine trailers on a current list.
