Loughry submits resignation

Convicted state Supreme Court Justice Allen Loughry has submitted his resignation, effective at the close of business today. Loughry was convicted on eleven federal counts last month. He’s filed two motions for a new trial. The Governor will appoint a justice to replace Loughry.
