Majority of aid went to Kanawha and Greenbrier
As expected, the majority of aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency went to Kanawha and Greenbrier counties after the June 23rd flood. Overall, FEMA approved more than 32-million-dollars of assistance. Later this week, five of the twelve disaster recovery centers are slated to close. Those will be in Nicholas, Summers, Fayette, Pocahontas and Lincoln counties.
