Man attacks officers with a stick

A Charleston man is facing multiple charges after he tried to attack police officers with a large stick. Police responded to a combative patient call at CAMC General. Police found 38-year-old J.P. Watkins swinging a large stick, and threatening officers. Watkins fled toward Charleston Town Center where he tried to hit a security guard. Police eventually shot Watkins with a stun gun and took him into custody.
