Man charged with making terrorist threat

A Nicholas County man is charged with making terroristic threats after an incident at the county’s Department of Health and Human Resources’ office. Twenty-eight-year-old George Barnes is accused of calling a DHHR employee and threatening to shoot and kill everyone in the office. The employee works in child protective services and is handing an abuse and neglect case involving Barnes.
