Man Dies After Shooting in Sissonville

Police are investigating after a shooting death in Sissonville. 53-year old Tracy Stalnaker was killed Tuesday, according to a tweet from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. Sgt. Brian Humphreys said a man was waving a knife around and started chasing another man. The second man then shot the man with the knife, who collapsed on the ground and was dead at the scene. It happened outside Smitty’s Auto Parts on Wolf Pen Drive. Humphreys said the shooter is cooperating with police.
