Man sentneced for hanging dog in a tree

“Tay” Copening Junior has been sentenced for animal cruelty and wanton endangerment. He was arrested last April for hanging a Pitbull in a tree on Charleston’s West Side. Copening will spend up to five years in jail, and is banned from owning a pet for twenty years.
