Man takes infant into woods with Gun while Drinking

Felony counts are being filed against a Cabell County man accused of taking an infant into the woods with a gun while drunk. Police say Jake Spurlock had been drinking over the weekend when he got into an argument with the child’s mom and brought the four-month-old into the woods in Milton. The woman called for help from a church and the child was found unhurt by two K9s. Officials say the baby was crying when they caught up to the 39-year-old Spurlock and convinced him to turn himself in.
