Many RISE Cases Under Review
West Virginia National Guard’s Adjutant General, Maj. Gen. James Hoyer says there is progress being made with the RISE West Virginia flood rebuilding program. Hoyer said in a news release that there are 448 outstanding cases out of the original 451 cases reported. Of those, 128 cases require total reconstruction, 109 cases require some form of rehabilitation, 71 cases require a new mobile home unit, and 140 cases have undefined needs and are currently in the review process. RISE will focus on case management reviews now with construction assignments and quality control. Kanawha County has 91 of those outstanding cases.
