Many Schools Closed Again Tuesday
A state of emergency declared by Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin remained in effect Monday as agencies continue to assist counties with storm response efforts. No deaths have been reported. Public schools were closed Monday in nearly all of West Virginia’s 55 counties, and some counties canceled classes on Tuesday, too, including Kanawha, Putnam, Clay, and Lincoln County schools. Fayette and Mingo County schools are on a two hour delay.
