Marshall Plane Crash Remembered on the Anniversary

November 14th marked the anniversary of the plane crash that killed members of the Marshall football team, coaches and staff, community members and flight crew. It was November 14th, 1970 that the crash happened, and a memorial service was held on campus yesterday to remember those lost, and a memorial wreath was placed at the Memorial Fountain. The fountain was silenced after the laying of the wreath, and remain silent until next spring.
