Marshall University volunteers
Staff and faculty at Marshall University volunteered nearly two-thousand hours to flood relief initiatives. The school’s Board of Governors met Friday for the first time since the new semester started and it began with an update on volunteer work. Flood relief efforts ranged from providing medical care to packing backpacks for children and collecting and delivering cleaning supplies. Enrollment numbers were also discussed and show they are trending upward in at least two important categories — graduate students and international students.
