Mason County home burglarized after fire

A Mason County home caught fire, and a day later was burglarized. A kitchen fire destroyed the home Tuesday night on Adamsville Road in Mason, and a day later burglars broke in and ransacked the place. The thieves stole heirloom jewelry and collectible coins. Two people got out of the house. One person suffered second-degree burns trying to rescue family pets.
