Mayor Calls for Health Officials Resignation

Charleston Mayor Danny Jones is calling for the resignation of Kanawha-Charleston Health Department’s board of health president following the discovery of e-mails by WCHS TV between health board members regarding the needle exchange program. Jones said the e-mails prove Brenda Isaac used her position as president on the board to influence the mayor’s race. The next board of health meeting is scheduled 4 p.m. Thursday.
