Methadone clinics

West Virginia and 32 other states are part of a coalition asking the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for some changes to methadone clinics. The attorneys general in the 33 states are seeking regulation modifications so state monitor programs can gather some treatment data without permission from the patient. This will help doctors determine which patients are at the highest risk for opioid drug abuse.
