Missed school days must be made up

State School Superintendent Steven Paine says the nine missed school days during the teacher strike must be made up. He says counties have three options to make up the days. They can add days to the end of the year, eliminate spring break, or increase the school day. Paine is encouraging districts to use their spring break, but that decision has to be made by local school boards.
