Missing Person is Found Dead

A missing person report on Sunday ended up being the reason for a 911 call too, as someone stumbled upon an accident scene. An all-terrain vehicle crashed near Bufflick Bridge on Kelly’s Creek, and deputy SA Cowan found 39-year old David Wayne Darnell of Mammoth at the scene where he was pronounced dead. Darnell’s family had last seen him around 6:00 p.m. the day before when he left on his ATV after drinking alcohol. A fisherman found Mr. Darnell’s body and the crashed ATV Sunday afternoon and dialed 911.
