Mobile Home Park to Close and Displace Tenants
Some residents in Putnam County impacted by flooding are now finding out they’ve got two months to move. Floods hit the Westwood Mobile Home Park August 3rd, and now residents are being told they have 60 days to move out. Flooding happened when a creek backed up and damaged trees and homes. Now residents have received letters saying the mobile home park will close because the funding is not there to help with drainage problems. No more rent will be charged while the tenants look for a new place to live.
