More Officers Learn to Administer Life-saving Naloxone
Several law enforcement groups across the state are doing what they can to fight the overdose epidemic. West Virginia University is cooperating with local law enforcement to train officers to administer life-saving drugs as part of the WVU Law Enforcement Naloxone Project. Law enforcement agencies across the state will get equipment and training to administer the life-saving drug Naloxone which can reverse the effects of drug overdoses from opioid pain meds and heroin.
