Mother hands off baby to AEP workers

A Ripley mother is facing felony child neglect charges after she gave her one-year-old son to a group of AEP workers. Workers in a Jackson County mobile home park say 26-year-old Myra Green asked if they would watch the baby, when she laid him on the ground and walked away. The workers took care of the child until troopers arrived. Green was taken into custody.
