Mudslide shuts down part of Route 60

Part of Route 60 between Smithers and Boomer in Fayette County is closed due to a large mudslide. A car ran into the debris and flipped over. Emergency crews rushed to get the driver to safety because the hillside continues to come down. The driver wasn’t injured. No word on when the road will reopen.
