Murder Suspect’s Trial is Delayed

A Kanawha County murder suspect will wait to go to trial. Randall Woods is accused of shooting two people in a neighborhood dispute, and got a trial delay to give the defense and prosecution time to resolve discovery issues over the release of physical evidence. WCHS TV reports Woods will now go on trial Jan. 28. The defense lawyer John Carr, is also defending former Supreme Court justice Allen Loughry in federal court.
