Needle exchange program suspended

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources’ Bureau for Public Health suspended the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department’s harm reduction program, which operates the controversial needle exchange. The bureau said the decision was based on findings following an evaluation of the clinic.
