New Hotel Planned for Hurricane

Hurricane is getting a new hotel. City leaders held a news conference Friday to announce that a Wingate by Wyndham will be opened by Hospitality Group LLC. The new hotel will be located behind the GoMart off the interstate where the Budget Inn was being torn down. The groundbreaking is expected in March 2019 with hopes the facility will be open by January 2020. It will have about twenty full-time employees.
