Nitro Church Ends Clothing Giveaways

A Nitro church is no longer giving out free clothing. WCHS TV reports The Nitro Church of Christ stopped the clothing drive on Saturday and has been giving away clothes to families in need for two decades. Becky Bailey took over the program seven years ago and is stepping down now and won’t be replaced. Instead of an area in the basement of the church for clothing drives, they’ll replace that space with a kids’ zone. Those who have benefitted over the years from the clothing program include the homeless, and abused women and children.
