Nitro Pool’s Future is Uncertain

As summer winds down, there are questions about the future of the Nitro pool. Mayor Dave Casebolt said on social media that the pool is aging and in need of expensive repairs. The pool is almost sixty years old, and the Mayor said the city is doing its best to keep the pool open, and that will mean putting in $15,000 to $20,000 in the next year for a new liner, chlorinator, and more. He’s urging the community to come together to decide on the future of the Nitro Pool.
