No Charges After Man Vows to Get Clean
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is giving kudos to a man entering a drug rehab program after an incident last week. On Wednesday the 21st deputies were dispatched to a home in Cross Lanes, and a man in his mid thirties came out and put his hands on a wall and said he needed help. He had seen the President’s speech earlier that day about drug abuse, and said he wanted to get clean. He turned over digital scales, sixteen suboxone packs and patches, marijuana, nineteen grams of ecstasy, and 158 pain pills. He’s in drug rehab now, and Sgt B-D Humphreys says no charges will be filed.
