Skeens convicted and sentenced in coach's murder

The man accused of murdering former football coach, Scott Jarrell, has been convicted by a jury. Clinton Skeens was a former student and player of Jarrell's, and had been on trial for stabbing him more than forty times in December 2010. A jury yesterday found Skeens guilty of first degree without mercy in the death of Jarrell. The jury had four verdicts from which to choose, and that was the most serious of the four. Skeens has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
