Historic Ship Replicas Dock in Charleston

Students usually learn about the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria in history class...the ships that Christopher Columbus used when he sailed to the West Indies in 1492. Replicas of two of those ships will be on display in Charleston through next week. The ships arrived yesterday and docked at Haddad Riverfront Park. The public is invited to tour the ships for an admission fee of $8 for adults, and $6 for students ages 5 to 16. Children 4 and under are free. The ships will be docked along the Kanawha River until November 5.
