Stabbing outside Impulse night club Investigated

Police are investigating a stabbing that happened early Sunday as the man was leaving Impusle night club on Capitol Street. He's been identified as 18-year old Kevin Clemens of Pittsburgh, and is expected to recover. The club has had problems in the past, and the Charleston Gazette reports this latest incident could be the last straw. The paper quotes Mayor Danny Jones saying "The place is a crime factory. Nothing but trouble comes out of that place." Impulse Club manager Robby Parsons defends the club and says Sunday's stabbing happened at the corner of Quarrier and Capitol streets, outside the club. Police are still looking for the person who stabbed Clemens. Anyone with information should call Charleston Police.
