Man Arrested for Home Confinement Violation

A man that was supposed to stay home didn't stay home. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year old Robert Wayne Cole faces a home confinement violation and will be charged with escaping from an alternative sentencing program. Cole was arrested Wednesday after he violated his court-ordered home confinement by leaving his home in South Charleston and didn't return. Deputies acted on a tip, and found Cole in Slack’s Trailer Park near Big Chimney hiding beneath a stack of dirty clothes. Cole was on the home confinement program after violating his probation on multiple counts of breaking and entering, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. He was serving two consecutive 1 to 10-year sentences.
