Services Set for TV Actor Who Died in Charleston

Funeral services are set for a TV actor who died last week in Charleston. Lou Myers was best known for his role as the ornery restaurant ownder Mr. Gaines on "A Different World." He also appeared on "NYPD Blue," "E.R.," "The Cosby Show" and "Touched by an Angel," plus movies, including "Tin Cup" and "Wedding Planner." A funeral service for Myers will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Charleston. Myers died Feb. 19 at Charleston Area Medical Center after becoming ill with pneumonia. Myers was 76.
