Residents and businesses in Kanawha County and six other West Virginia counties affected by Superstorm Sandy can apply for low-interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin said this week the loans are available for counties including Nicholas, Clay, Fayette, Greenbrier, and Kanawha for damage that occurred between Oct. 29 and Nov. 10, 2012. Loans are available for up to $200,000 for homeowners and up to $2 million for businesses to make repairs and replace lost items.
