Driver's Ed Teacher Faces Charges

A driver's education teacher is facing charges after encouraging students to do something reckless. Edwin "Bud" Anderson teaches driver's ed students in South Charleston and police say he encouraged a student to do donuts in a grass field owned by the University of Charleston, and then weave in and out of several power poles. Anderson was charged with misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor and destruction of property. WCHS TV reports the girl was entering the military, and he was trying to teach her skills she might need when driving a Humvee.
