Gandee's Vehicle Partially Submerged in Mud
The wreckage that held Buckwild cast member Shain Gandee, a friend, and an uncle was discovered by one of Shain's friends who had been searching trails and terrain after he was reported missing Monday. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle sat unevenly, but upright, and was partially submerged in deep mud next to a trail. Mud was covering the lower part of the passenger side door of the vehicle, but the driver’s side of the vehicle was above the mud. The muffler of the vehicle was completely submerged, and the vehicle itself was about a mile from Shain Gandee’s home in Sissonville. The sheriff's office says the bodies have gone to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
