Sheriff's Office Arrests Four in Meth Bust

Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call Monday night in the Witcher Creek and U.S. Route 60 area, near Belle. Two men were carrying backpacks and the deputies saw the two operating a clandestine meth lab. 22-year old William Clifton Massey and 34-year old Robert Randall Meade, both of Belle, were arrested. The investigation led to another home on Witcher Creek Road, and a search turned up evidence of another meth lab. 39-year old Jody Lee Dawson and 20-year old Emerald Diana Massey, also of Belle were arrested there. The sheriff's office says all four were charged with attempting to operate a clandestine laboratory and conspiracy to operate a clandestine laboratory.
