WVU Sets Up Accreditation Website
After Mountain State University lost accreditation last year, there is heightened awareness about the process. West Virginia University says they will have a campus visit next year by an accrediting body, and they are starting the preparations now. The university said Monday that it has created a website providing information on the accreditation process that offers advice on how to be involved in the process. The Higher Learning Commission's reaffirmation of accreditation visit is set for April 7-9, 2014. The visit will include formal meetings, open forums and informal conversations with faculty, staff, students, administration and alumni.
