Emergency Responders in Charleston for Expo This Week

Dozens of emergency vehicles are expected to make their way through Charleston this week....no on their way to an emergency, but to a celebration instead. The West Virginia Public Safety Expo kicks off Wednesday night with a parade of emergency vehicles. Organizer Terry Sayre says the annual event typically has at least 50 vehicles in the parade, and draws emergency responders from across the state for workshops and continuing education courses. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday and iIt will go along Kanawha Boulevard to the Charleston Civic Center. The expo will be held through Saturday.
