Man Arrested with Meth-Making Materials on School Grounds

The courts were working on the 4th of July, and 29-year old Ronnie Lee Thomas Jr. was arraigned on drug charges. Thomas faces a felony charge for attempt to operate a clandestine drug lab, and distribution and/or possession within 1,000 feet of a public or private school. In this case it was two schools - Midland Trial Elementary school and Riverside High School. He was arrested in Diamond, off of U.S. Route 60. The criminal complaint says Thomas was carrying methamphetamine making materials on school grounds.
