Arrest Made After School Computers Are Allegedly Pawned

After a five month investigation, the Kanawha County Sheriff's office has made an arrest in a case that involved stolen property from the school district. Corporal BD Humphreys says Gary Lee Cochran had been employed as a Child Nutrition Director for the school system and resigned in February. When his desk was cleared pawn tickets were found for two computers that the Board of Education had asked be returned to the school. Deputies couldn't find Cochran once they had a grand larceny warrant, but eventually using a tip through WCHS TV’s Fugitive Files program and other sources, Cochran was finally located on Mason Street in Milton, Cabell County. He was arrested and taken to South Central Regional Jail.
